There is a pump on the fire wall of my '60 panel , left side (when inside) not sure what it is for, maybe wipers ? .Looks like u pump it with your foot or something. Any info would be great. Thanks
Is it like a half of a rubber ball about 4 inches in diameter? Possibly even blue? Then that's what it is. Aftermarket, I believe. Man it been ages since i saw one of those...
It's a vaccumn foot operated washer pump for the wipers. Ford didn't offer a electric pump until the earlier 60's. It could be aftermarket, but a good chance it's factory. There should be a nozzle or nozzles on the cowl or at least a hole where it was. Is there a glass jar under the hood on a bracket?
Sorry there Capo88, i thought I said that. Us old farts have great memories, just short attention spans.
