Where to get ELC coolant?

Anyone know where I can get some?

I've been to several stored and the only ones that had ELC had 50/50 or something called Dex-Cool which has "GM approved" all over it.

NAPA up here has it.... Do you have any Big-Rig Truck shops near by? I want to find some CAT coolant, but I think I'm gonna settle for the NAPA crap because It costs too much to begin with, let alone shipping.

Napa is the one with Dex-Cool. There is an international dealer and they said they can order it. Is Cat the best? There's 4 CAT places around here.

IDK about the best, but If I could get it I would. No CAT dealers near me.

I'm selling parts off my bike and the soon as I get enough sold I'm buying a coolant filter, ELC, 203*TS, Billet TS Housing, Oil Cooler Gaskets, and Oil/Filter to do my 100,000 mile service. Should be just in time for my 3,500 mile trip to MO and back.

Nice! I got a new 195 TS and I'm gonna try both the 195 and 203 and see which one my truck likes better. The 195 and wrap around radiator hose came today. Just gotta order my 203 and Billet housing.

I think "Delo" is what NAPA here had. I can't remember for sure.

I haven't seen any Delo yet. I did find one truck fueling station that had a "Chevron Lubricants" sign. I'll go tomorrow.

ToMang, I sent you a PM regarding shipping you some CAT ELC

I got mine at a Cat dealer, nice to know if I need more I can get the same stuff close by.
The International place should be able to get the Fleetrite, so I'd just deal with whoever was closest.

This is my coolant flush staging area. Got my dual alternator hose, my 195* thermostat and the water (-1 that broke on the way home..) I'm going to order a thermostat housing and a 203* thermostat and pick up some ELC tomorrow if they are open.

I doesn't have to be "CAT" coolant. It is recommended that it be "CAT EC-1" approved though.

You should be able to get EC-1 over at Quinn in Oxnard.

I've always had to order it because the lubrication point of sale outlets in my area only carry the 50/50 mix and as you know, you're gonna need the concentrate mix.

Also, don't ever EVER put Dex Cool in your truck.

A GM Dex Cool coolant is NOT compatible with our engines.
