hey guys, I'm in southern AZ at school for awhile, and I would like to get a bunch of parts I've been gathering while I was deployed put on my 2000, 7.3 Powerstroke. I'm looking for a reputable, fair shop to do the install for me, cause I just don't have time to do it myself. I have heard good things about Strictly Diesel in Phoenix, so I called and got an estimate; near ***** myself at the price I was quoted. Would like to stay more south anyway, any suggestions would be appreciated.

Hi Matt, when you say Southern AZ do you mean your in Tucson? or one of the other small towns.

i sent a message to Pharm_Doc (he lives in Tucson and ownes a diesel) i don't own a diesel.... this is what he said....

"I would recommend Arizona Affordable Diesel Tech on Broadway I think it is. A guy named Jason owns it and he is good and won't screw you over"

thanks a bunch Bill, that's exactly what I was looking for. I called the shop last Friday and they called me back and chatted today. Very nice, very knowledgable, and less than half the other estimate. It goes in next week. Thanks again,

So Matt.... how did the mods go?

 

It's still up there. I decided to have the heads redone, since they came off anyway for the studs and valve spring upgrades. New valves too, since they were in there. I'm pretty happy with the shop, seem to know there stuff, and prices are reasonable. I will report back when they are done.
