Project "No Buck"
I've been watching a few builds on here for quite some time now, so figured it was time to post some pics of mine that I've been working on. A little back story on the truck, my dad sent me a message one day asking if I'd be interested in a short bed truck? After a little discussion from the land owner he said we could have it for free if we came and picked it up. We didn't hesitate one bit. Here are a few pictures of how it sat for the last 7+ years.

The whole purpose behind this build is to try and keep my cost down where I can and have a fun little DD. So no not everything is going to be 100% correct but I also don't want to do anything half a$$ either, so I am going to have to get a little creative. Here are a few pics of it sitting at the my dads shop after getting it home.

My plans are to have a low budget fun street truck that I will still be able to use when I need it. Nothing crazy nice just a cool fun truck! When we picked up the truck it did not run, all the brakes were seized up so that was the first order of business. Getting it running and rolling. I'll get more pictures posted shortly. As for the year of the truck, it is a 83 F100 with a 302.

Hey guys here are a few more pictures of the motor build. I'm kind of disappointed in myself for not taking any pictures of the old motor in the truck and while during the installation of the new motor. Thought my dad and I had this covered but I guess we let it slip. As for the new motor, it is a 1987 Roller motor, speedpro coated flat top pistons, double roller timing set, GT40 1.84 intake valve, GT40 1.55 exhaust valve, trick flow hyd roller cam, roller lifters, edelbrock performer rpm air gap intake powder coated black, pro comp distributor, pro comp wires, edelbrock 1405 600 cfm carb, flow tech full length headers, 1969 DOOE heads (GT40 Build), and all the other bells and whistles. Hope you all enjoy!!

Well, I could carry this laptop out and put it beside the 351W block sitting on the floor of my shop waiting to get built, or I could ask you - what is it?
And, seeing the Milodan pan behind and what I think may be a Victor Jr intake, are those headed for your engine? That'll be a screamer, but is that right for a truck? Or, maybe I jumped to a conclusion?
