Glad I do not have to keep all that stuff straight........I would spray orange peel for sure.

Not to bad cutting off the old chain box, storage shelves and hang bars. And then maybe turn it on the main frame or take it off the frame all together?

I am only putting a small alum tool box and a baja mount spare tire on it. I only paid $50 for it. Its 7 ft long and 49 1/2 wide, fits between the stacks nicely and leaves me enough room length wise for a frame mounted roll bar right behind the cab.

Ummm, we pretty much all hate it.

It'll do. It is now keeping us cool in the summer (took three trips and ten days for the repair guy to actually repair the AC) hopefully, it'll keep us warm in the winter.

We spent a little more than two years in a huge, beautiful home that we rented for a song...we're now "getting what we pay for" and are sorely disappointed. Spoiled? Yeah, mebbe so...but we all miss our old house.

The good news is that the little one has started school and is doing very well, and that, of course, was the point of the move...so in that light, all is well that ends well.

(...but the house still sucks... )

With the housing market like it is and now you are all on the right side of the tracks for the daughter's school, maybe buying in the area is a plan?

Have you drove to the old house by mistake yet? Or used the old address?

Chip of course pics will be posted, I think it is a project easily finished, well maybe along with all the others.

We just looked at a house in Ozark. They call it 5 bedrooms, but it's really more like six. 3 and half baths, BIG shop, two sheds, handicapped accessible and 3 acres. Cheap! New roof, electric's in good shape. I hope we can qualify for the mortgage. I need a bigger place for the cars. I keep having to move stuff around just to get my own cars in the driveway. This would be so much better. I don't hold out much hope, but at least I have a little hope.

...anyone want to buy a nice Nova for $8K?

Grill and poker night is done, good luck on the shop deal there Alan and oh yea a house too.

City water/septic and how is the property tax? Always other things to consider, but sound like a deal for you and the family.

RC I can be there at Unk Bob's around 4:30 ish, can you?

Good Morning Everybody!

Rich, I had a few questions on the septic system, so the realtor is checking in to that. The septic was put in in '06, so it's fairly new. The roof was put on 3 years ago and looks great. The foundation looks to be in good shape as well. We're just outside city limits, so the taxes shouldn't be horrible. Hopefully, everything works out. If not, we have a back up plan. I'll sell the Nova at the Branson auction in October, (which I was going to do anyway) and with our tax return, we should be able to pay cash for a plot of ground here locally. Then build a small house to start and add on as needed. Then we'd be able to pay cash for it, and the banks can kiss our collective butts.

RC, we should be heading out in about an hour or so. As soon as I can get the girls up and ready.

Ok Rc, its all good just call my cell tomorrow when you are on Hwy 13 going north. I will be doing some welding at my buddies barn, right in Brighten and the boys ranch turn off area.

Alan sounds good with either plan, good luck on what ever route you go.
