Yes you do need to get that thing tuned. All it needs is the fuel to back up that sound and you'll have a hick butt truck.

Just make sure to keep it out of the ditch when giving it throttle. . .

Yeah, with the added HP and better throttle management that Mike's tunes provide, I think I may give the diesels a run for their money.

Matt, did you happen to see what your fuel mileage was before and after the tow?

I was around 18 and it went back to 16.5 when I switched my screen back to the mpg calculator at Mikes before I rolled out. I got back over 17 before I got home. I believe that is with around 200 miles on that tank of fuel also (I went home from work, then to work in the am, and out to pickerington before I headed up to Millersburg on that tank).

13.1 on the way out there, 14.2 on the way home.

Also looks like the trailer worked out as well.. Nice job Mike..
Honestly i would have like to brought our f150 and f350 ..not sure if f150 could have handled all the weight but... i think it would surprise most of what it can pull when screaming

So whens the next meet

I'm thinking Spring time next year. We had a meet every other season so we might as well try it.

For anyone interested, I put my (unloaded) 6.2 on the scale while we were there. With me and Steve (Dim Sum) in the truck and just over a half tank of gas, it came in at 8060.

I figured with just me and a full tank, the truck would be just shy of 8k.

I didn't expect the 6.2l truck to weigh that much even though its a CC LB. Wow.

None of us did, my truck's a pig... I have the front/rear axle weights in the truck, will try and remember to post those up. I had the factory tonneau cover on, bed mat, and bed extender in the truck as well. The tonneau cover and bed extender don't weigh much at all, the bed mat's pretty portly though.

For the record, I'm 210lbs.
