not sure what I got on mine but ill be looking into new rubbers soon (and may burn the current rubbers when its time to replace the rubbers for new but thats another thread folks), just be sure to do a lot of research and compairing and as stated once tirerack.com you can find reviews of the different tires and stay in the 31 - 33 range no bigger or smaller then that for our trucks...now depending on your truck and gears and all that size may need to be adjusted accordingly mileage too
I have BFG AT KOs and my next set is going to be Duratracs. My last set of Goodyear Wranglers lasted 65k and were great highway tires (they were just Wrangler HT) so I don't doubt Goodyear quality. The BFGs are good all around, but if you're looking for better snow/ice/slush traction the studdable Duratracs are probably your best bet. These tires are studdable, so they are basically meant for winter use.
Little surprised you need good snow tires though, Charleston? Isn't that South Carolina? You guys get what, 2 or 3 months of winter?
I snowmobile quite alot, and on the snowmobile forum I spend a bunch of time reading alot of the guys up in Montana, Wyoming, Canada are praising the Duratracs for their performance. I've seen more and more trucks around Colorado with them on as well.
I've always really like the BFG KO in a 32x11.50 on my rangers but I have never ran them on a full size. But the next set of tires I get are going to be a 33x10.50 so I am stuck with the bfg st's whether I want them or not.
i agree with the cooper s/t they are very giid tires and somewhat aggresive,,,,i was also impressed with the bfg at ko in the winter both my uncles swear by them and usually last a longg time
I put 73k on my Wranglers before i bought a new set this spring, given it was mostly highway but the duratracs did great in the mud. i wouldnt go any bigger than 31's myself though
I've been doin a lot of searching since my tires are 11 year old generals they don't even make anymore with great tread since the pre owner only put 25000 on but have weather cracks the thickness of buisness cards Im set between hankook dynapro arms and general grabber at2s
