Hey Guys.
Just closed the deal on a new F350 yesterday. I've put a few photos below. Hoping to pick it up Friday and enjoy it for the weekend. I'm lucky enough to work every day with EpicCowLick who has been nursing me along from my D-max love affair. I think he's looking forward to a marathon truck-mod day even more than I am.
This truck will be used to pull a 35' toy hauler that weighs in around 17k loaded up. My family races motorcycles or camps with the trailer close to 20 weekends a year which mean a lot of miles and hauling. Any of you guys that race also know that pulling into the pits is as much a truck show as it is a bike pit so it will be nice to retire the old Silverado with something a little more flashy
I ended up getting the truck for $250 over invoice + $299 doc prep then got $4250 in rebates. That dealer is also doing the following mods that I paid for separately:
- Bushwacker pocket fender flares painted to match (About $900)
- Undercoat ($299)
- Front window tint ($59)
- Clear-bra front (About $349)
I've got 20x10 KMC XD Revolver wheels on order from Les Schwab to go with 315x60x20 Toyo MTs that will hopefully be here Friday afternoon.
Here is a short list of the mods that are planned or in the works for the short term:
1. Front Suspension Mods: Leveling Kit/Long Rancho 9000s/Alignment & Caster
2. Firestone Air-Bags + Ride-Rite Wireless Compressor
3. B&W Turnover Ball 5th Wheel Hitch
4. Video Headrests
5. Speakers/Sub/Amp replacement and upgrade
6. Titan Tank
7. Door Seals
8. Viair compressor/tank
9. Linex bed liner
10. Husky Mats

He thinks it may even be a little worse with my bigger 10" width wheels so we'll see.

Congrats, it's a beauty now but can't wait to see the "after."
On another note, we are beginning to get a decent number of folks from the Salt Lake area on FTE with 2011/2012's... Everytime I see one on the street I wonder if it's Cummins, Epic, etc.
Might need to do a meet up sometime...

We should do a Burger Stop parking lot meet-up this fall. We can gawk at each others truck mods over onion rings. They'd probably sponsor the meeting!
