As previously reported, this unit has locked up and will not play, eject, or load; "load error", "no disc" displays, and unit solenoid cycles continuously. The warranty went out 775 miles ago. Now I have a FORD "case" number. The dealership has performed a diagnostic and determined it to be "solenoid failure." I have asked FORD Customer (NO) Service to repair or replace the unit at no cost to me. They are reviewing my case as I write this. I am patiently awaiting a call or something in writing. I started this case with them in early May 2011, and the 3 times I called they told me the turn-around call-back was 4 business days. Not so. I have had to follow-up with them with a call each time. They are treating me like my future business with them is of no cosequence. I have asked for someone with more authority and have been told 3 times I was already at the top of the food chain. I find that hard to believe. Anyone with suggestions.... phone number or person with more horsepower would be appreciated.
