A tad high IMO Havi. Even for those of us who live in the rust belt.

Yeah, I was thinking no more than $600, but I'd hate to lowball his price without feeling justified, lol.

Hmmmm, It runs and drives.....wonder how long ago? Why is it parked in the weeds instead of the driveway? Probably only needs a battery, new gas, etc. LOL
$600- $800 seems about right. If it had a GOOD Y-block, maybe a little more.
They sure are cool all fixed up though........

Well, this is what I sent him:

"I'm kinda up in the air right now. I'm not sure I could go more than $600, unless I can put a key in it and drive away."

Are you really looking for another project? The 57's are a nice looking truck but I was given a talking to from my wife some time ago about finishing the one you've already started before you go and save another from the crusher. After I thought about it she made sense but it was hard to admit. If I had my way and the money to back it up I'd have at least ONE of every year, lol. Hopefully a friendship won't be jeopardized with the above comment.

Project? No, I have plenty, lol.

Driver, yes. I need something to haul the typical little things around, such as bags of aluminum cans, supplies from Menards, etc...

This one drives up and down the road here at work every day. And he wants $4000. Compared to that one at $1500, you'd be money way ahead.

Have at it man, I have enough projects already. I never heard back after I mentioned I'd wait until a title was found.

We all have complicated moments and rough patches from time to time. Hope you can do something with that truck, it's worth saving. Well, they all are, lol.
