Fuel pump eccentric question

Replacing original timing chain in my 78 400 with an edelbrock double roller. They say to replace the 2 piece eccentric with a one piece,is this necessary? If so,where would I find one? Thanks

If the manufacturer of the timing set you're installing says to also replace some other, nearby parts, I would think their engineers had a reason for that and so I would do it.

I'd be looking to the manufacturer for replacements for those other parts, too.
