HEADLIGHT EXCHANGE 2001 FOR 2005

Will the 2005 Excursion headlight assembly (part 6C3Z13008AA) fit on a 2001 Excursion (part 1C3Z13008AA)?

I have original headlights that need to be replaced. Not sure why I would not upgrade.

They will fit with a little header panel modification. Use the search and you will find all you care to learn about the process. I have the 02-04 that bolt directly in

The 05 headlights are deeper. I used a cut off wheel on a air powered die grinder to modify the header panel, it took about 10 minutes. the bulbs need plug adapters for the different bulbs too.
