Neil the station near my house has had theirs fixed a few times. It is set to go off any time there is a call until about 2200 hrs then it turns off until the next day.

 

We have the daily 1730 test and tone alert, then the 2130 curfew siren!

 

Neil the siren system here at work is set to a testing schedule along with the city. It tests the first monday of the month at 1300 hrs. My brother had to work that day and just didnt hear anything come through.

 

Like I stated, our goes off every day at noon except for Sundays and it is done by the timer at the fire hall. We usually have a weekly siren test on Thursday evenings or when ever we request one. For calls, our will blow for anything 24/7/365 except for EMS calls, which then we recieve just a page out.

 

Okay, now I know that some of you guys are football fans and like different teams, but have you guys seen the Bills 1st round draft pick this year??? His name is Marcell Dareus and is a rookie from the Alabama Tide. He plays defensive tackle and according to the roster listed on the web, he is somewhere around 6'4" and 343 lbs.
Can we say.....MONSTER !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

and they also have another DT that I believe is a rookie and I do not remember his name at the moment, but he is 6' 4" and weighs in at 393 pounds...... now to make this interesting, he has a 32"..... yes 32" vertical jump !!!!!!!!!!!!! That is awesome for a big guy.
