Parking Brake

Which Parts do you need? In the cab or the hardware to the wheels?
All of it?
This guy has a handle if you need one I bet, and he is very reasonable.
Came across him on ebay. Here's his flyer

I've checked LMC and DC to no avial I would need everything from end to end, Napa does have the cable, and the pick n pull doesn't have any donors atm.

I'll fire off an email to Dan's ford trucks or whoever and see if he's got one. Thanks for that lead

Note the additional park brake control info not listed in post # 8.

What's wrong with yours? Is the handle broken, or when you pull the handle/shaft out, it doesn't engage?

C5TZ-2780-A .. Park Brake Control Assembly / Obsolete / AFAIK, not reproduced / ONE available NOS

Applications: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD / 1965/66 F350 with MX Cruise-O-Matic or T-87 3 Speed Manual Trans.

But, the handle was replaceable, as was the curly-Q spring (OM-2788), its associated parking lever pawl (OM-2788) and the pin (OM-2788) that fits on the end of the shaft to lock it in place when the handle/shaft is pulled out.

Usually the spring breaks and/or the pin falls out. These parts are obsolete, but date back to 1950, were used on a gazillion cars/trucks, so prolly can be found NOS

The front park brake cable connects to the equalizer lever (2A605) that mounts to the crossmember using a separate bracket (2631).

The cable's adjusting rod (2628) attaches to the lever, then to the equalizer bar (2A602) that the two rear cables attach to.

These are basic numbers only, will type the full part number(s) when I know what you need.

ps has anyone got any brass kingpin bushings for my 65 F250 (camper special ranger)?
Where did you get/find this part number?

C5TZ-2780-C .. Park Brake Control-Orscheln Lever type-Mounts on floor / Obsolete

Applications: 1965/66 B500/750 (B = School Bus) / 1965/66 F500/750 / 1967/69 T800 (Cummins Diesel) / 1967/72 F700/750 Chassis & Cowl (Open Drive-Away).

If you have one of these trucks, this is the part you want. But, if you have a 1965/66 F100/250 2WD, it's obviously not correct!

Both posts #6 and #8 have the following info: C5TZ-2780-A .. PARK BRAKE CONTROL / OBSOLETE

Applications: 1965/66 F100/250 2WD / 1965/66 F350 with MX Cruise-O-Matic or T-87 3 Speed Manual Trans.

ONE available NOS, but Green Sales doesn't have it.
--------------------------------------------------
4) C9TZ-3110-A .. Bronze (not brass) King Pin Bushing / Obsolete

Found 16: 11 available from 6 FoMoCo Dealers / 5 available from 2 obsolete parts vendors.

No FoMoCo Dealer has more than 2, no obsolete parts vendor has more than 3.

I need everything from a to z, complete handle assembly, all cables (can get from Napa), and all of those little parts you gave the basic #s for. Previous owner ripped it out who knows how long ago

Budget currently doesn't allow work to progress on the truck, so I'm in no hurry getting the info

You may not be in any hurry, but once I post all the part numbers...how long will it be before others beat you to them? Example: There is only ONE park brake control (handle assy) available.

This wouldn't be the first time this has occurred. By the time one fellow got around to buying some obsolete hoses I listed (12 were available), only 2 were left when he finally got around to calling the source.

Coupla years ago, I listed the sources for the 1961/66 lighter **** & element (C1TZ-15052-A)...28 were available. How many are available now? TWO!
