E brake bolt

Anyone know where to get the e brake bolt that holds the e brake arm in between the shoes. It has a star toothed pattern on it. It's for my 1989 ford f250 custom 6 cyl 8 lug wheel. Does anyone sell these cuz I really don't want to go to a salvage yard. Thanks all!!!

If you are talking about the star wheel adjuster, you should get that in the help section of any parts store.

x2 on lazy K's comment... but if not see if you can get a pic, add an arrow in microsoft paint to the part, and post it on here.

If you don't know how to post an image just get a photobucket account and load pics there. then all you have to do is copy the IMG code under the picture and paste it here and the pic will show up! We LOVE pics on here. It's an easy way to explain things and see what you are doing.

Welcome to FTE!

No it's what is holding the e brake arm in place the nut holding it is on the inside of the wheel at the very top.

Sounds like you are talking about the brake shoe anchor pin. Probably get it at lmctruck.com I would think.

If you're talking about the pivot bolt for the e-brake arm (up near the top of the backing plate) it's a D6TZ-2027-A. Still available from FoMoCo.
