2003 Ford F-150 4.6L 4x4 5 speed manual transmission(i'm a dumba$$...i ordered the truck from Ford this way)

Anyone here changed the clutch, throwout or slave cylinder on a similar truck? I had the same transmission on my 94 F150 2WD and changed the slave when it went out. The 4x4 version looks much worse(its inside the bell housing as it was on the 1994...4x4 extras on my current truck). $1200 to change a $40 part. Woot. It's not out yet but it won't be long...figured i'd start asking now if its possible.

 

I did one last year, changed the slave, clutch MC, clutch & pressure plate, & turned the flywheel, I only charged $900. But if I did it again I'd charge about $1200 parts and all. If u do it, do it all.

 

If i have to get inside the bell housing for anything its all being changed for sure.
