Monroe Steering Stabilizer Install Assistance
Good Evening All
I installed my new Monroe Gas Magnums with little trouble on Saturday. Had a look at the Monroe Item # SA1943 Steering Stabilizer kit and it's not making sense to me.
Wondering if anyone has installed this single kit and if you have some pics to share, or pointers.
Regards

I have the Monroe gas magnum shocks on my truck as well, and really like them.
As for the steering stabilizer, I have a Monroe shock mounted to Rancho brackets. I bet its similar. I looked up your part number and the brackets do look a little different. I have seen kits like that as well. They mount similarly to mine. One side has U bolts that grab on to the passenger side steering linkage and the other side mounts to the bottom of the crossmember and requires a pair of holes drilled in it. If you have the power steering line that runs there, make sure you bolts don't interferre with it.
Did you kit not come with instructions? Here is a picture of mine, that may help you.

Ya, the directions are poor to comprehend, I think the heavy bracket mounts to the pssenger side box frame and the other side like you got it on the steering linkage.
They're directions leave something to be desired, in this day of the ease of information transfer.
Anyone on here with this setup and a pics for me would be greatly appreciated.
