anyone know why my rearview has gone dark? and what is the best way to get it working again

 

Subscribing. Mine won't go dark enough.

 

Are you talking "totally dark" or just darker than usual? There is a lens on the backside of the mirror facing the windshield which darkens the mirror if it becomes obstructed, like hanging something from your mirror and it covering it up.
