Terra Grapplers or Trail Grapplers???
Well, I'm ordering a set of tires tomorrow on Discount Tire and here is what I have it narrowed it down to:
35x12.50/20 Trail Grapplers
or
325x60/20 Terra Grapplers
I just ordered a 2" leveling kit, and they'll be going on my factory 20" wheels. I drive mostly on the highway (30mins one way to work) and occasionally through mud and sand. Also, almost immediatly after these go on I'll be making a 650 mile trip up north to see family.
Because of the highway driving I am leaning towards the Terra Grapplers, but I want something a little more aggressive looking and the Trail Grapplers do that pretty good.
What do you guys think? I'll be posting before and after pics on both the tires and the leveling kit.

The Trails are likely to hum a bit on the highway. Their wet pavement traction should suffer a little as compared to the Terras, since the Trails are not as heavily siped as the Terras.
The Trails are a cool looking tire, no doubt and they should perform very well once you're off the beaten path.
Given what you drive, if it were me, the Terras would be my tire. I prefer the somewhat quieter ride. At the end of the day, buy what you want, as it's your money.

I've got 42,000 miles on my Terra's and they still look like they have more than 50% tread left. Now I rotate them every oil change so that helps. I also run 50 psi in them and they are 275/65/20's.
I like the look of the Trail's also and am considering them for my next tire.
Good luck......

I'd vote Trails. I have the Terras on my truck and they're a fine tire but for the noise they make compared to the old BFGs, I'd have sooner had the look of the trails. My buddy has the Trails (same size as mine - 295/70/18s) adn he put 'em on his F150 the same time I put em on my TUndra and his have a little more tread... however, i probably put some more miles on mine though..

So, I called Discount Tire yesterday morning with the intent on getting the Trail Grapplers. The salesman on the phone said they are a special order tire, and couldn't order them until Monday. And even then it would take 10-14 days for shipping. So I went ahead and ordered the Terra Grapplers. Maybe it was a sign.... lol
