Okay Marc.... I will be by around noon tomorrow to pick up the truck, Do me a favor and make sure Nancy is not around, if there is one thing I cannot stand is a raving mad woman running down the street crying, while pointing a gun at me especially in her bathrobe or tighty whiteys ..... I can handle the crying and screaming, it is the gun that gives me a the *****'s... Looks good Marc when do we drop the supercharger in it?

Did a preliminary build and wire of the instrument cluster today.
Originals are pretty gone so went with new.
Had to fab an adapter between the panel and the speedo. Made it out of stainless to match the panel. Put turn indicators in the adapter. There were already holes in the panel so I will put high beam indicator, alarm on light and in the larger hole on the right will be a lit rocker switch for backup lights.
There are two places on it I'm not happy with yet so I'll have to refine down the road. The area around the clock and the surface of the speedo adapter are to flat for me. Have to think about that.
All in all, lookin' good though.

BTW
I don't know if it has bothered you guys as much as me but that silly little piece of rubber edging that is supposed to go around the edge of the instrument bezel sucks.
It's a bitch to get it on there and keep it on.
I went out to look for something different and found some weatherstripping that is white and a little more elegant.
AND it is self stick. I'm going to experiment a little more but I started by splitting it down the middle so it fit better.
When it compresses it squeezes into the space between the dash and the bezel.
The last pic shows it not all the way squished yet.

The red is a "don't mess with me" alarm on, indicator.
There is also an amber rocker switch for backup lights.
There were already holes drilled in the bezel so I had to come up with a use for each hole.
I like it Marc... where did you get the gauges? I want to find a four in one for mine, and a clock...like you have... I want to keep the stock speedo though... I am also converting to LED lighting, It is pretty inexpensive, and is much brighter while using a lot less Power.
My problem with going with the original speedo is that there were other gauges in the speedo cluster that were messed up. So if I used the quad gauge and original speedo I would have a bunch of gauges that were busted and doing nothing just hanging there doing nothing. And were replicated in the quad gauge. So I decided to go with a new gauge.
I'm also starting to use LEDs, they are pretty nifty and you can get them in different color temperatures to do whatever job you need.

Got the rear bumper yesterday and threw it on before work this morning.
Pretty much went on with ease. Just had to drill relief for the rear cross member rivets into the inside bracket.
Exhaust tips are still a bit long as they were built for a step bumper.
Kinda dig'em stickin' out like that though.

You darn well know that Nancy will be using those tips to hang laundry on to dry...!
