van axle

out of curiosity would one of those e series van axles from an 02 van (still has the 8 x 6.5 not 170mm i think) work under our trucks, they have disc brakes, even if you had to move the spring perches and do something different w the u-joint, it would seem an easy way for rear disc conversion.

I've heard the van axles aren't quite as strong as the sterlings are.
