F350 will not start.

F350 will not start.
I need some help. I have an 88 F350 4x4 with a 460 that will not start when I turn the key. I turn the key and I get all the usual lights and everything appears to work but it will not turn over. I can jump across the solenoid terminals and it cranks but will not start up. I have replace the starter and solenoid about 5 months ago and just recently in the past 2 days replaced the ignition switch and neutral safety switch, both did not fix the problem. My major concern is getting the truck to turn over with the key, I hope some can point me in the right direction.

You need to use a test light to find the problem.
If it does not start with the key on when you jump the starter solenoid then you either not getting power to the computer (no injector action) or no power the Ignition coil and its friends.
The ignition switch is what supplies power to the Ignition Coil and the EEC power relay.
You need to check this wire (white wire with a blue stripe) at the Ignition coil with the key on.

Thanks, but its not the ignition switch, during my process of trying to fix this problem I replaced the ignition switch and neutral safety switch within the last week.

I see where you are goin with this, when I used the multimeter I used a good ground. I am not only going to check the red wire at the injectors and the neutral safety switch, I am going to take some ohm readings too. Now that you mention it, it would not surprise me to have a bad ground especially since I use this truck for plowing. I'll let you know what I find, thanks.

i did not say it was the ignition switch. i said the ignition actuator cam. two completly different animals.
the actuator cam connects the ignition key cylinder to the rod that goes down the column to the ignition switch.
drop the ignition switch and work it with a screwdriver. if the starter engages, the actuator cam is broken.

I wanted to say thank you to everyone that was helping me trouble shoot my truck. Turns out it was mice. A friend of mine came over and we started going over the truck and found many wires chewed through. Once I spliced the wires together the truck started right up. I only wish I would have found that out before I replaced ignition switch and neutral safety switch...
