Exhaust options

I've got a '91 F150 4X4 5.0 that I've been looking for some exhaust options. Right now it has a 20 year old stock pipe.
A local muffler shop informed me that there were no long tube headers available in CA that are CARB ceritified for my rig. Only shorties. That sounds crazy. Can somebody verify that?

All I read about here is to use LT headers with a 5.0. Anybody have any suggestions for me, that are smog legal? This thing has to pass a bi-annual smog test.

You just have to put a bung down by the collector for your O2 sensor. As long as you are running a Cat and a O2 sensor I don't think you'll have any problems... But then agian it is CA we're talking about! LOL!

You might just want to call Summit and ask them what they have... Cali Air Board might have to give a stamp of approval for each part that changes how OEM emissions works on a vehicle.
