EGR delete... what else?

I think I am going to do a EGR delete this week and clean my turbo, what else would you recommend since I will have all this out. Any tips hints or any suggestions would be greatly appriciated. Thanks

If your going to be that deep do the oil cooler anyway, because you will be doing it in the future.

I agree. If your that far into it already, heck do the oil cooler. Beats the heck out of tearing it all down again later. They don't cost that much. It's the labor.
STC fitting upgrade, maybe?

I would change to the extended life anti-freeze. Several good choices, and all are better than the gold coolant.

what year is your truck

I also went with a hpop screen, turbo mount gasket kit, intake manafold gasket kit.

you probably dont need the intake gaskets or the turbo gaskets if your carful I just like to be thuro

make shure you run some cleaner threw it and flush the cooling system goooooood before you dig in pull the driver block drain plug with the flushes
get some purple power to clean things up foam carb cleaner for the intake there a mess

that egr kit you got came out after I already had mine it looked very comparable to the sinister kit let us know how it fits
good luck

-or am I off on this one?

Thanks

You didn't hijack bud. It's all pertinent info for the OP, and others doing the same. Thanks for the catch. I didn't see his MY in the OP's post so... Good input.
