Sorry for the late reply. Very nice truck you got there. Mines is 1978 short bed. 9" skyjacker suspension, 39" swampers on 15x12 Wheels. Tires fit real good, no rubbing what so ever. I want to go with a 38" swamper or bogger when these wear out. i hardly drive the truck now, i put the plates in storage while i am slowly working on the body, fixing some rust issues in the bed and bottom of the doors. Slow process being i can only put so much $$ in her when i can. Hope this onfo helps you with your truck. Post some pics when you lift it.

I have been following your posts checking out what you are doing.
Looking good
Also watching your shop build up around your truck.
I have 60 acres in NorCal and need to build a shop also.
Stay in touch.

Real nice find, they are rare and I wish you a lot fo fun it it. I found a similar thing when I got my hands on my 78 Stepside. You can see it at 78 f100 Sterside restoration. Both our truch have very little rust on them which is rare for trucks this old. Even trucks in CA.
I got lucky.
I'll check out your post.

THanks. MY shop is a 30' by 60'. THaught is was big enough when i started, but slowly getting smaller and smaller, but its what i got, beats doing stuff on the gravel, and under a tent. I did that for most of my life. I am working on bed, replacing both bed posts and some rust on the floor. Will be replacing front panel of bed soon, and will get some pics up. Good luck with your build.
