Hey ya'll, got my intercooler in today; got it from brownie83(great seller). From a 2nd gen powerstroke. I'm gonna post pics of the install as I go along.

Thanks, I was gonna go 2.5 inch, but the boots are 3 inch. I think I might just get 3-2.5 boots and run 2.5 inch pipe. I want it to boost as fast as possible.

Alright fellas. I measured it up yesterday and its gonna be a tight fit. I am running 3 inch pipe(considering a ebay pipe kit?). Do I have to remove that cross peice Between the core support or can I just bend it in??

Also, how much space should be in between the tranny cooler and intercooler? I know its gonna be a tight fit but I don't really want them touching.

I'm gonna be installing soon, I have to get a intake hat still, gonna be pricey for sure.

i went 2" pipe. helped a lot. with the 3" it takes that much longer to try and build the boost. just too much volume.

How many more HP would you gain on a stock PSD with an aftercooler like that?

Did you go 3 inch before and then change?
