Frame differences

I've got a clean 1993 f350 with the 7.3 that was involved in an accident and the frame has been damaged beyond repair. Body minus front clip is mint. Also have 89 f350 460 that has a solid frame and trashed body. I know there are some differences that I can see by the radiator support. What are the differences? What would it take to be able to mount the 93 motor, trans, and body to the 89?
Thanks for any input.

Yeah you can swap them. Should be pretty straightforward. The bodies are pretty much the same from the windshield back. If you wanna swap the 93 clip onto the 89 then I believe you will need the core support as well. So that should knock out any differences. Your 93 might have the crazy looking "crumple zone" on the front of the frame where the 89 doesn't. That doesn't matter.

Thanks for the reply. Are the motor mounts in the same spot between the 460 and diesel?

460 and diesel use the same frame, but use different motor mount towers. you will need to use the towers and mounts for the engine being put in the truck.
