Hi!

I have an annoying rear wheel clicking noise that happens as I am rolling along at 5mph. The clicking speeds up as I accelerate until Im going too fast to hear it anymore.

Anyone know what it could be? NO vibrations no clutch pack problems. Has new friction modifier. Nothing like that.

Sounds like a card in the bicycle spoke trick kids play.

Any ideas?

 

If it makes one click for every two tire revolutions then it's an axle/wheel bearing. But if it's once for every tire revolution then it could be a damaged rotor.

 

I had this same issue with my 99. Turns out that my axle seal was leaking and the emer-brakes came part. I could hear it clicking but not at high speeds.

 

mine makes a weird clicking noise too, kinda sounds like there is a piece of foil stuck to the wheel. or kinda like running over a flattened soda can. very intermittent, not all the time, but very annoying as well.
can't figure out what it could be

 

If you have original rims, check the center cap for tightness. If it wobbles, that may be the clicking.
