DT466 Turbo on 6.9 IDI

I aquired a new project I have a 90 4 door f-350 that I'm putting my 6.9 IDI motor in. I got a free turbo from my scrap metal guy from a DT466 and I'm wanting to install it on my 6.9 fabbing the exhaust is easy for me and the oil lines are easy but can I adjust the wastegate to only put out 10 PSI max?

Would like to know before I start fabbing the exhaust. The heads are no prob as I just put ARP studs in them

thanks guys

Headon over to the idi forum. But im thinking that turbo is going to be way too big. You could trade it for something smaller, like a TO4. Clearence is going to be the major issue here. Even kits designed for these critters are hard to get on, and you may not be able to spool it effectivly. Not trying to be johnny thundercloud and rain on your parade, but these are issues you will have to address

The turbo is too large to fit under the hood pretty sure. We have one member that did a remote mount under the truck with that turbo and worked out well.

Measure the wheels, they are the deciding factor, a 4mm differene in wheels can make a big difference
