Does not the "accessory" position on your ign. switch provide the same function?
Just a little hazy on the need.

It could be anti-theft measure.
But not too many people steal B2s!

Lol, if mine worked on yours, I would send you a copy.

But I don't think the vehicle is old enough for that to work

Could you draw up an idiot version of this for me? That would be very helpful.
Maybe only the ignition part? http://www.therangerstation.com/tech...n83to882_9.JPG

New day, new problem... This time it's a little different....

This time it made me late for work (which it has never had a problem with before, usually she is reliable for me)
I have been using my stepfather's rig.
Anywho.... It doesn't seem that the carb is getting gas. If I do get it started it only goes a little way and then completely dies on me. I replaced the fuel filter (up front on the carb) and when I did a little bit of gas poured out... How could I check if it is the fuel pump? I can get it started once in a while... I donno; I am feeling like giving up on it cuz I have no money and the junkyard wants more for the pump than Baxter's for a brand new one... Really I am not feeling like I want to deal with it, but I know I do; I will press on with the repairs it just feels like one thing after the other.

Fuel pump is front of motor on drivers side, access is best made by moving the power steering pump. If pump is leaking motor oil from a small hole in housing, pump is bad.

K, I will give it a look at, could you believe that the junkyard up here wanted $10 more for a fuel pump than Baxter's brand new one? Nuts, huh?

I just removed the dash (to replace the fuel gauge) I broke that white clip connecting the cable to the speedometer... Am I in trouble or can I get a new plastic thing, maybe tape will work? I didn't know how to take it off.

You just squeeze it together with your thumb and forefinger.......it pops off.

You can try jamming it in till it stops and duct taping.........If not, your on your way to the junk yard.
