Ordered my wheels and tires today, it hurt bad they were about 30-35% of my budget

Got the XD Diesel Series 22inch wheel

Toyo Open Country MT 37x13.50R22.. Wanted the 40 inch but at $850 a tire that wasn't gonna happen.

Won't get to work on the truck for a few weeks but when I get back to it I will be trying to work a lot more and a lot faster.

LOL...yea you look at the prices and you know it's gonna hurt...so you procrastinate and him and haw...try to find something cheaper that is just as cool. Then....oh to heck with it and lay down the cash.

Nice choice though.

That is the exact process I went through haha. I tried to convince myself to want lots of cheaper wheels and tires but in the end I just got what I wanted in the first place.

Well I am not getting any work done but the parts seem to be rolling in.

Rims and tires arrived

Air suspension controller found its new home.

And the dual zone HVAC system I am going to try to make work is here.

Now if I could just get a few weeks straight working in the garage I would be set.

WHat is the HVAC system out of? That looks like it could be a cool starting point (no pun intended)!

Out of a 03 Chebby Trailblazer. I got it because it was the only brand I could find around here that was dual zone but, not automatic temperature control which has lots of sensors and computers usually. The wiring is all hacked up, it is going to be a project on its own but dual zone is a must have if I am putting so much money into the truck.

I am really interested to watch you build the air suspension. I'm in the process of building mounting for rear full size Firestone airbags and have thought about contacting AccuAir for their control system.

How were they to work with?

Hahahaha - I know EXACTLY how that goes. I think it's a girl vs. guy thing unfortunately I typically make sure she brings a sweatshirt/jacket

Super professional, and you can tell they care about their product just by the way they package it, everything is bubble wrapped and sealed and protected. I did a lot of research on suspension control and AccuAir Seemed to be the best. They assemble everything at their shop and test it before they send it out. Answered all my questions before I purchased, I will do a write up on it when I am done.
