You said the same thing I just said, another way.
The dealers are not allowed to do or change factory engineering unless official fixes or changes comes down or they make changes on their own.
FORD is not addressing the issue. Time to begin asking why!
The suspension engineers could find the issue on their own design, but if corporate won't go with the fix you get what you get.
For owners to make wild changes to get out of an issue they don't understand is so foolish.
You have to find the fault before you know what to do about it or has the world suddenly changed?
Same with a fault code from an engine. You have to understand the code before you know where to look for the indicated fault. Why is this any different?
Do not look to the dealer for fixes to the issue unless Ford authorizes it.
To be told such things as it's normal, you have to live with it etc is absolutely hiding from the issue by insulting the owner after he invests 40 to 60 thousand dollars in a truck.
Maybe I can sell you a house with a hole in the roof and tell you it's normal.
A dealer is a dealer not a re- engineering facility.
Look at the big picture and put the pieces together.
How long has this been going on? Nearly 4 model years I do believe.
Good luck.
Looks like luck is better than expecting a fix at this point.

some here have tried it without success, though.
if it was really that easy for everyone, there wouldn't be 28 pages of discussion.

I have a 2009 f150 C/C6.5 ft. bed. Purchased new and tow 7500# 80% of the time. Ford replaced the springs, shims,& spacers did not help at all. Ford would not do any more. I installed air lifts it helped a little. Replaced trans. mount with raptor mount and it took 90% of the low speed shudder out. Fords customer service is pathetic. Will not Buy another ford truck. I purchased three new trucks. 2004 SD diesel 2006SD V10 2009 & F150CC 5.4. Retired auto tech DY

Does the raptor transmission mount (AL3Z-6068-B) fit a 2WD? (in particular a 2013 4X2 supercab)
Is the mount any taller than a stock mount? Since my truck is lowered Ford wont do anything so im going at this on my own. On my truck what I suspect part of the problem is, the front working angle of the u-joint is excessive (even though its lowered the front driveshaft from the carrier bearing to the trans is stock) Everything that I read about a two piece driveshaft, says that you treat the front shaft as if it was an extension of the transmission, with a slight working angle of aprox .5 degrees to ensure u-joints rotates on needle bearings. Mine has close to 4 degrees of working angle. if the raptor mount is slightly taller, then this would correct some of the working angle, and shutter.

All the things being done amounts to a cover up for the root cause.
Anyone think for a minute that Ford engineering cannot find the cause is naïve.
Better to ask why the company won't address the issue rather than have it drag on for several years and have such an impact on reputation of an otherwise good truck.
It's all about $$$$$$, your $$.
Good luck.

Hey Jimmy
Could you post a link to the "shudder list" ? I just acquired a 2008 scab 6.5 styleside box F150 w/ 5.4l Fx4 and 120,000 mi. Shudder is present on take off from a dead stop and seems to be magnified in severity while turning and lightly applying the brake. After
following the forum posts, I'm not even going to try the "dealer fix" since it appears to
be a giant waste of money trying to get the Ford network to resolve the issue.
