I noticed that the ported vacuum switch on my '79 F150 Custom has all the nipples broken off and that one of the POs used a fitting to connect the vacuum lines. Im assuming that the PVS is required, yes? I need to make sure everythings solid so I can drive the 200mi trip home next sunday. You can see what Im talking about in the pic below:
