It's a metal tube running along the top of the head underneath the planum. It has 6 smaller tubes running from it into the head. I'll get a pic of when I get home from work.

The split loom in red on the FAR left actually passes right over it....If you cant find it, follow the U shaped hose beside the intake...

mmk i think i see it is it the little black hose, its right on top of the little red hose in the upper left

No, the piece of split loom on the left, right above the fan shroud....It literally has a U shaped hose....it is easy found if you know what you're lookin for....

Thanks there Whoundini......Its actually a lt cleaner now.....And thanks for the "Circling".....Ugh...Was running utta steam to explain with....Maybe next time I'll simply use flashing lights and a billboard....

hehe, it's not the best circling job in the world, but at least ya get the point. Mayhaps I shoulda used a diff color, the one I used is awfully close to the color of your wire cover

I have the same issue on my 300 i6 it is when I'm accelarating or whenever I have my foot on the gas it's makes the sound u have and I have a brand new A.I.R pipe.

Yeah and i cant figure it out, because his truck runs really good, and it dosnt run any different when it happens, It made my worried this one time when i has hauling a heavy load of steel on the freeway goin up hill, and i REALLLY didnt want the motor to blow up on me ,But its a Ford i know it wont

Very true same here no performance issues just that noise

Could it be a gummed up injector clacking? hauling a heavy load uphill and getting a noise is usually spark-knock. Is the timing set off of base?
