I have a BlueOx swaypro. That picture is scary as ****.

That said I've had no issues towing 8000+ lbs but I use properly inflated tires as well as airbags.

I am going to go out on a limb and say that that 19" airstream was probably beyond what that Tacoma could pull and most likely sat low. The client can say what they will but with enough up force from hitting a curb I could see that snap.

Pretty sure the hitches are cast, not forged which didn't help either.

Pulled over to Long Beach, WA and back for Memorial Day Weekend. Averaged 8.5 MPG going over the 101 through Lacey-Aberdeen-Raymond. First time pulling the Nash 26X we just bought. Pulled great with just a WD hitch and one sway bar (trailer was probably somewhere around 8K LBS??). Lots of other RVs on the road (obviously), but its fun to get rolling 5-6 deep down the freeway together.

Makes me glad mine isn't a cast piece! Mines a mild steel I think, the gusset is welded from the factory, and it's a smooth finish, and I've "plowed" some pavement with it more than once!

Hooked mine up tonight, set the weight dist and inflated the bags to 50 lbs, what do you all think?

This is a pic of what it looked like before the Hensley and air bags.

Is the trailer a bit nose high or just uneven ground or camera angle? Ideally it should be level or slightly nose down.

That should never happen, short of a very violent collision which should bend all sorts of other pieces. Defective part for sure.

The drive is slightly unlevel side to side, I put a level on the trailer frame and it was level front to back, if you think I should I can drop 5 lbs out and see what it does.

Here are 2 other pics:

Shouldn't need bags with a Hensley hitch IMO. Equalizer hitches work wonders when setup right.

Take exhibit A.

And exhibit B

I think around 7 or 8 years ago there was a product called Hitch Buddy that was the same setup. I don't know if it's still available, but IIRC, there was a a huge safety concern about the product.
