Not too much of a beach person. Just pulled and set up at the KOA in Williamsport/Nittany Mountain.

Northern PA. Nice place so far.

That's a minor problem, and I'm not too worried about it.

Must bigger is that I can't get the hot water tank drain plug to seal 100%. I wasn't having success with the normal thread tape, so I used some of the "Natural gas thread tape" which seems to be thicker and squishier. I did several wraps of that, and could barely thread the plug in, but I got it in, snugged it up, and left it connected to city water pressure for a few hours. There were only a few drops weeping out in that time, but I'd prefer no weeping at all . . .

This is probably "good enough", but it's going to annoy me.

See that hose for the vent in that photo? Took me a year to figure out why MY 5er wouldn't fill my fresh water tank!!! A mud dauber wasp had build a mud dam inside that sucker!!! Try to reverse flush that hose and you'll find your H2O fill problem!

Easy to check... just pull the end from the fresh water tank (if you can reach it - mine was located right in front of my face) and try filling it again. I could turn my water on full force and fill it. Be sure your water tank isn't already full tho..... it won't vent to the outside!!!

The water will just blow back up the fill tube.

Hopefully Steve! It's also come out the overflow/vent tube he just was instructed to remove!

Well, it will come out somewhere

Not sure how many folks realize how easy it is to make a pressure fill by just using a tee and shut off valve right at the pump. If the pump is easy to access, it can simplify filling the fresh water tank.

I never thought of doing that. My three way winterizing valve may have found another purpose.
