i just run it for about 15 mins on each faucet and it seems fine. Guess we don't have any taste buds left maybe.

Certainly works provided folks are obsessive. Like most in the industry I do both simply because I gotta warranty my work and the pink proves I did it.

I just buy bottled water to drink !

Taking pink showers is de-manly though

joking of course, but this is my first season with an RV in a very long time and being in the south I never winterized,
just drained and blew out as it never stays cold for THAT long down here ! (which I like !)

Steve, I tried talking to my wife as suggested. I don't think you'll be hearing from me much for a while. the wifi in the hospital is terrible, and the anticipated recovery time from having every bone in my body broken is somewhere north of six months.

You were supposed to have the conversation with the wife Via Cell phone.....
Less impact that way.....

The good news is that we don't get a bill from the hospitals here. The bad news is the wifi sucks and I'll be in a while . . . .

Everyone out there, happy wife, happy life . . .

Come on up. Calgary is hiring right now. Houses aren't cheap, but average wage is pretty high. Might be smart to bring a wife with you, I married the last good woman in this town . . .

I didn't want to start a new thread, this may be an easy question to answer.

The hot water tank drain plug on my new trailer leaks. I happened to have a second, brand new plug, and tried that, and it also leaks.
It is the type shown in this picture:

Any advice for how I can seal these threads better? They must be damaged somehow on the tank side, as the new plug leaked more than the old one. That old one had quite a bit of teflon thread tape on it, more than I'm accustomed to using. I guess that was the Previous Owner's attempt at sealing it.

Any suggestions?

Use Teflon tape around the treads. It does not appear to me to have any.

Teflon tape or Teflon paste (Great White from Lowes). The plugs are often hard to seal even with good threads and have to tightened more than one might expect. Those plugs come two in a pack. Ditch the old one and try it with a new one.

If the plug has a anode on it be careful with Teflon tape. You need metal to metal contact for the anode to do its job. Maybe apply tape to the last few threads.
