I didn't want to start a new thread, this may be an easy question to answer.
The hot water tank drain plug on my new trailer leaks. I happened to have a second, brand new plug, and tried that, and it also leaks.
It is the type shown in this picture:
Any advice for how I can seal these threads better? They must be damaged somehow on the tank side, as the new plug leaked more than the old one. That old one had quite a bit of teflon thread tape on it, more than I'm accustomed to using. I guess that was the Previous Owner's attempt at sealing it.
Any suggestions?
