Does that imply they have done a "soft launch" and people are gettting it as long as IDS is updated?

Think he's saying if the dealer has IDS 72.3 loaded and you go in and ask for a relash, the new one will be applied..

Just got a trans reflash at my dealer. Tech said this update was new today..... Also had my fuel tank set to 50 gal. As well.


Not enough miles to see a change yet. I'll keep everyone updated.

Lex - nice. You said "trans reflash"... do you know if it was a TCM only update or did they do both the PCM and TCM?

Just talked to the tech and it was both a tcm and PCM update..... KaChing! I've been on the road for 1 hour now and the 4-5 shift is like night and day. No word on the 1-2 slip because it was sketchy on showing its nasty head.

I just called my dealership and scheduled for Thursday morning.....WOOOOO HOOOOOO!
I hope this does the trick or I am going to ghost ride this mother into Lake Superior

is this going to be a re-flash for everyone, or only if you ask for it? I ask because the poeple not havign trans issues may not want to wake a sleeping dog.

I just got off the phone with my dealership and forgive me but i forgot the last number for the new TSB is 11-4-? he told me this is suppose to be the PCM and TCM cure all but as of 15 minutes ago it is in the system but they cannot access the actual software download yet he told me this could change by the end of the day and to check back in the morning, he told me they might be trying this as a test on a few trucks first so they dont hav e another issue like the last reflash, anyway there is light on the end of the horizon!!! Whooo Hooo
