low mpg (12.5!)

well got a little over 200 miles to the big 20 gallon tank.

looks like my injectors are in need of replacing.... still spews some bluish smoke on any type of startup. Going to check the air pressure, shim the FPR, resist the icp and hope for something better.....

The blue smoke on start up is probably injector orings...

Don't shim the FPR unless you have low fuel pressure and don't put the ICP resistor in until you figure out what your problem is.

How did you measure your fuel consumption? I personally have never filled my tank with 20 gallons. From full to 1/8 tank is about 12-14 gallons of fill up for me and I usually go about 220 miles or so on that.

i calculate it the way you should, fill it up, reset the trip mileage.... drive until it gets to a quarter tank. fill it up and calculate.... came up to be 12.5

If the brakes aren't dragging , you may want to test the fuel pressure ..Are you running chip?..

Most times the chip will help..

While you are testing , may want to test EOT as it compares to ambient air temp .. If its biased , may be fueling improperly ...

EOT - Engine oil temp ...For our trucks ,it acts like a choke or an enrichment jet ...On fuel injected gas engines , they use intake air temp combined with water temp to decide how much fuel is injected ..Mainly EOT for us ..

You should check your intake plenums for leaks too, they can cause poor fuel economy.....
