Good afternoon Tim, and any other fellow Kansans that show up today. Probably no game for me! No way I'm going to watch the game at 0300 in the morning. The USO, the MWR theater, and just about every building with AFN, a chair/couch, walking around space and probably somebody's lap will be taken. Not enough room to have a whole base watch it. I'll just follow the highlights tomorrow at breakfast chow, and watch the commercials after work.
I'm not that die-hard of a fan to take valuable sleep time to watch a 5hr game.
Stay warm out there today! Looks like it's only getting colder from what the news was saying tonight at dinner. Drive safe if y'all are going out to a party!

Del, that sounds about right. I remember last year about this time, we were out at the DMPRC gunnery range out by the town of Riley. Needless to say, the wind tore off several layers of skin. Gotta love that biting wind!

Tyler, glad to finally know ya on a first name basis! Can't help you with the cab corners and floorboards though. I literally just bought an inverter welder, and I'll be picking it up at my Mom's when I get home.

And I pulled a bonehead move. I mean cab mounts lol. It's been a long day. But no worries, they will get done even if it means me finally ponying up the money and buying myself a welder.

Well, I still have a few things left to get to complete my setup. Still need the argon tanks, and a bunch of consumables, electrodes, and filler wire. A few other things that aren't a necessity, but would like to have, but can pick up at true value, or Home depot/lowes.
I would like to do the body mounts, but I think when I do those, I'll pull the bed at the same time, and sandblast that, and weather seal the frame. POR15 or similar and maybe rhino coat. Granted, I don't see too many rusty trucks in KS, but then again, I won't be in KS for ever.
Tyler, there will be soon! After I get my taxes back, and the school loan is paid off on the 15th, I'll start ordering parts, and tools, and power goodies. My barracks room is not going to have enough room.. I might have to build some shelves for the Xbox games, and mount the TV on the wall.
This beast is going to take up a lot of room as it is!
