you can see the wear better in this pic.
I also have to change out the center console and also get 12v to the seat because the butt up/down is power

Also. I have had the ZX3 for 10 years now and for as long as I can remember the seat has been broken. I found out the focus seats have crappy welds. Lots of people complaining about them braking. Somehow the broken bar got spun upside down in the seat and was poking me in the butt when auto-crossing and why I wanted to take a look at it. I got to it just in time before it wore through the seat cloth.

Well I have a job if I want it.

Telephone pole inventory. All day everyday walking pole to pole taking measurements and inventory. Weeks at a time living out of hotel rooms.

Training starts Thursday. Totally different than fixing computer printers and PC like I was doing. So a total of one (1) month on unemployment. Not to bad I guess. I just have to keep at this job and tough it out. I think this one step closer to being a true blue collar roughneck. Not as tough as farm work or construction but it's on the same path. I just bought steel toe boots with EH rating (just in case).

And I stopped in to say hello to "BigKen" but he was busy selling Prius's so we can keep our trucks.

Congratulations Dan. You could of almost Have driven up to me in that time.

I'll have to check the wife's focus seat to see if the bar is ok. I need to replace the front sway bar end links. Lot of play in the ball ans socket. The clunk it makes you would think the control arm was coming off.

Thanks.

As the years went on the side bolsters got flattened. The '02 wagon has flat bottoms.

The end links are notorious but you usually hear them at low speeds going over bumps. The wagon needs new suspension and at all speeds it sounds like the struts are going to fall out or the control arms fall off but I think it is the upper strut bearings(bushings). Along with the struts. There is also a recall on the early focus front coils. They break. Check it out at the local dealer.

Good morning and have a tasty thirsty Thursday NH.

Replaced the sway bar end links last night. Wow, like driving a new car. Nice and quiet.
