Which years to look at or avoid? Any years have specific issues or years better than others?

 

2V V10s, look for '03-'04 where there's more threads in the cylinder heads.

'05+ had the 3V and Torqshift tranny. Plugs are 2 pc. so change them out around 50K.

 

In all my research it looks like the '08 and newer are the best. They look to be a diesel truck with a gas engine. They have the same tranny and the larger cooling system.

 

i have a 2008 f350 cc 4x4 lwb with a v 10 that i will sell. it has special order black cloth interior, sunroof, manual 4x4 shift in the floor, class 5 hitch and many other exxtras. IT ONLY HAS 3000 MILES ON IT!!!!!! IF ANY ONE IS INTERESTED I can provide more info.
