Finished my Lift

I finished lifting my 95 f150, and figured I would share with you guys here. It is the 95 in my sig. 4 inch rough country suspension lift with 285/75r16 duratracs on 16" MB wheels 72 mirror machined rims. Tell me what you guys think.

I like it. I am planning on doing the same to mine this spring. I need just a little more height.

Thanks for the kind words guys. Some of the pre-drilled brackets didn't line up worth a crap, and required a lot of drilling to make it all work right. But man am I glad I did it This thing looks so much meaner in person than it does in these pictures. I'm still not done with it yet, but I finished the lift portion of my project.

P.S. I didn't order the longer brake lines or anything extra. The stock lines worked just fine for me. The shocks in this kit are junk though.. I was very disapointed with them..

I'm loving it, that would be the lift i would like, 4 - 6 inches. Have you tried it yet? how about the ride in/off road?.

I went with 4 inches because this is my daily driver, and I wanted to maintain some driveability with it. I haven't tested it out much yet, because I am still breaking in the new tires. I will test it out offroad this weekend if we have enough snow, mud, etc. I will say that on road it drives really good. I am very happy with my selection of lift and tires. The ride is a little bit stiffer, as to be expected, not much though. Almost no difference in tire hum from the street treads that came off of it, which amazed me. Like I said, the shocks in this kit suck bad, I was very disapointed in them. I would either upgrade with the kit option (I didn't), or throw these away and buy some good name-brand shocks. Gas mileage has stayed about the same, I don't have my speedometer reset yet to confirm, but I know it is close. With the taller tires, I am running 1800 rpm at 50 mph (45 on my speedometer, which was 5 fast before the lift), which is perfect for my 4.9l.

Rims came from discounttiredirect dot com. The order in which the project is done makes no difference.. it all has to be done.. Might as well get the most expensive part of it out of the way. Plus, now I have a badass looking project truck that I can drive around while I'm working on it. I do tow some. Mostly cattle trailers and car trailers. But I don't use this truck for towing anyways. The most this one will see will be somebody else's truck stuck in the mud.
