2 things Darrin; I can't believe you let Big Ed see the snow, and Droopys' bumper needs replaced, it has some holes in it... Wanna trade?

What is with hose rear fenders? Did you chop a set of dually fenders? they look pretty sharp.
Nope, Here's the story,.. they were a product that Lund made in the late 80's for these vintage trucks. They were a little more popular on Rangers as a conversion company used them for a while, but I have only seen them on one other full size Ford, a member of TDS had them on a dually conversion.

I found mine on this truck that ran through the auction, (I own a car lot)

So I bought it just for the Fender Flares. Took them off put them in storage until I was able to redo my truck, and sold the Doner truck.

Here was a test fit:

Here is another pic of what the truck looks like today:

Overall I like them just because they are different than anything else that is out there. If I ever have a blowout, and bust one off that would suck as they are not replaceable. Then it would be on to a set of Bushwakers,...

Thanks for asking!

God I love this truck.
Thanks,.I kinda like it myself!

2 things Darrin; I can't believe you let Big Ed see the snow, and Droopys' bumper needs replaced, it has some holes in it... Wanna trade?
Yea that is kinda why I took that pic, becaust it is almost never in the snow. However with the 4bt Cummins Conversion on Droopy taking a lot longer than I hoped, It is taking up the spot in the shop where Big Ed sits for the winter. So untill that is done, I just pull out Big Ed during the day, let it sit in the cold and pull it back in at night. I wont drive it on the salty roads. Hope to have Droopy done in a few days than I can park Big Ed for the winter,...again,...

You prolly wont want that bumper, it has a couple of slots cut into it to have it fit around the plow bracket on the top. I wanted a 92-97 front bumper on it so it would wrap around the ends more than that stock bricknose bumper would have. The other holes were just a bonus

Got a little time this morning to get some proper wheels and tires put on. She looks much better now. Just a few more things and she'll be ready to make the run down the highway to my shop, then I can really get to work on her.

Thanks man!

The drop consists of djm drop beams, 1.5" steeda lightning coils, djm flip kip and drop shackles on the 1" notch. Tires are 245/55/18 BFG's on MB gunner 5's.

Debating on notching the frame but not sure where to get the notch from.

Thanks man.... I have been anticipating these for over a year. Didnt think it would be possible to fit them with the tires I wanted. Researching how to fit tires was nearly a science

Now, why can't they just sell us some headlights at a decent price??

I've been on the fence about changing my 87 to a 94 front clip ... i have most ofthe parts for the swap and i need to tear my 87 apart anyways ... the whole headlight issue keeps making me want to go to the 94 clip ...

anyone? thoughts?
