Well, the air wont come out of any vents except the defroster.

Anyone have any ideas?

 

I have seen in the past that the control **** can get stripped.When you THINK you are turning it to a different position,the **** will move,but the shaft in the climate control is actually not moving.
I suggest pulling the **** off,and looking to see if its broken.If it looks ok,and there is no evidence of cracking of the flange....use a needle nose vice grip,and carefully turn the shaft to a different position...Feel for "detents".......Basically "parking" spots as the shaft rotates.Check to see if the air comes out the vents/floor etc.If rotating the shaft fixes the problem,the **** is indeed at fault.If there is no change,I would suspect the climate control assy is defective.

 

Or it could be vacuum, defrost is the default position if you have a bad line from the engine to the climate control switch assy. that would also cause your problem
