I haven't been there for over a year ..when I post in that forum ,having just as much knowledge as most of them ... There ,I am invisible.

OBS guys are not (seemingly ) welcome there...

Its like private 7.3 club ...

Oddly , no one ignores them when they are here .

Chase , you being a convert , fit in in both forums ...

Up there is like being back in high school ...

We are not in the club.....

So... do you feel invisible when you post here ?....
They have said no to the RHN ,, Not to me , but they have to other OBS guys .. I happen to have a shop , fully equipped for anything that may happen ,, a wrecker too ....

LOL Different attitude in many respects. Then there are the 6.0 forums. Equates to elementary school intellect. They turn a lug nut into building the space shuttle. I get in trouble real fast in those. I get demerits when somebody whines to a mod because they are wrong. So silly. I'm telling!!

Chris , just so you know...

You are the ONLY one from there that has stuck up for me as to my knowledge of the 7.3 ..

As it turns out ,In spite of your great 7.3 knowledge , it didn't carry any weight with the rest ...

Nope not at all. I like the guys in both forums. Actually I post alot more in this one. I've had two obs trucks and two sd's

Them saying no to someone offering to help and be in the RHN isn't right though...

Wow new to this 7.3 stuff stay up to late reading/studying I take it after 97 is the super duty era. It was just natural for me to gravatat toward this forum since I have a 97 7.3 don't know what Obs stands for though. I like diesel's, alot come in to our warehouse and everyone that comes in is pretty cool about sharing info and tips. But I do feel I was snubbed by a 6.0 guy yesterday when I told him I just got a 7.3 !

I don't think you get ignored because of your OBS Rick. I think you get ignored because they are hoping for a different answer, looking for an easier way out, or get distracted by a few guys shouting UVCH.

I get ignored all the time up there too. I usually wait a page or two and then ask the same questions again. On the positive side, there are a few new guys up there that know what they're talking about that don't mind kicking ideas around and discussing the problem within the thread like more people used to do.

But don't feel bad. We had a guy up there this week from Houston that went and visited with David Lott and decided to ignore his diagnostic suggestions too. If they're willing to ignore David Lott, you're in good company.
