starter crancks but the engine won't start when cold 1991 f-150. 5.8windsor v8
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 30-Dec-02 AT 04:36 AM (EST)]whenever i start up my truck the starter will turn the engine but it won't catch , this happens alot when the truck has been parked for a while . air filter is not clogged, ignition wires and pluggs are new.or could this be that shes taking in air through the exhaust mani, i did have headers and i switched back to stock mani ,pherhaps this is the problem ,i also get this kind of pinging sound when driving could this be the torque sensor? please anyone could you give some help.
