Dana 60 Front Axle swap

I have done a lot of reserch on swaping out my IFS for a dana 60 I have a 1981 F350 It has the front leaf springs and it looks like I could just unbolt everything and the 60 shold bolt right up. The question i have is what would be the best years of trucks to find the axle?

late 80s -91 should be king pin , after should be ball joints ! you will have to replace the negative arched springs with positive arched springs for a straight axle swap other wise the pumpkin will hit the crossmember !

85.5-91 are king pin and 92-97 are ball joint.

You need the axle, F350 springs, trac bar, trac bar mount and steering linkage to go w the D60 axle.

If you use the F250(TTB D50) springs it will ride TERRIBLE! they are a heavier rated spring because they have to follow an arch when then flex, while the F350 (d60 Monobeam) springs do not

I have 32 inch from center pin to center pin I thought that the late 80's were a little wider than that
