I can barely endure a nuptial ceremony if rewarded with food. Barring that, I have no interest.

Looks like 29 April. I had to look it up because I left my invitation at home. With all the "news" coverage, you would think it was closer than that.

I think I was 5 or 6 when Diana got married. Saw the part where she walked down the aisle with her 100' train or whatever, and thought to myself "how lame" and went off to do something else.
At least that's how I remember it.
So I probably won't be watching the next one.

Ha - yesterday in the local paper, some joker wrote to the editor suggesting that they should bring back the sitcom Three's Company, with Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan, and Christina Aguilera in the staring roles. I got a chuckle out of that, and I bet that show would sell.

So, I ordered some tire chains from Tirechain.com, and they arrived yesterday. Following the recommendations of the site, I ordered the extra heavy duty style. They were not cheap.
I could barely lift the box to carry it from the front porch to the garage. This is ridiculous. The tires are not big, just stock 33".
I have to send them back and get something lighter. They have to go UPS oversize freight. Buying online sucks at times like these. It is going to end up costing me a lot of freight for 3 trips.

That's terrible! (Funny, but terrible.)
I had been wondering how they could handle the chains on a big front loader I saw up at one of the ski areas. Had to ask. They told me that the chains came in thirty wooden boxes and a lot of fancy directions to assemble them on the tires. They regard them as permanant parts of the loader since it never leaves the deep snow area.
