'59 Self-cancelling turn signal setup?
Is there a special way to line up the steering wheel the to blinkers turn off? Right now the left signal turns off immediately after making the turn but the right doesn't, unless you turn the wheel almost a full turn in the oposite way. Guessing the notch on the wheel isn't lined up right, when I put the wheel on how should the notch be orientated so the blinkers cancel at the right time?
The steering wheel and blinker switch are both stock.

Have you had the wheel off recently? With the front wheels set for straight ahead I put the steering wheel on (the 3 spoke wheel) so one spoke points straght down. If this is what you have, things should work.
You also might have an issue with worn parts. I have had the same problem as you are having on several cars and trucks over the years, and it always turned out to be worn parts or a weak or broken spring. If you pull the wheel off you might see some more wear on the parts that cancel a right signal.

There's a metal piece that looks sort of like a bushing that has had a section cut out of it running around the outside of the mounting shaft on the back of the steering wheel. That's what cancels the turn signal, and it's just a tension fit on the shaft, so it could have moved. You'll probably have to play with it to get it back in the right position to cancel the turn signals properly. you should be able to move it using a drift punch and a hammer.
